Sale Silly Season …

sale silly season …

So all the media reports I read in the lead-up to November 24th claimed that Australian retailers were a little over the constant 3 months of sale season that happened last year when the Black Friday sales really gained popularity. It was really the first year that it really went nutso, and we really jumped on the USA bandwagon of celebrating thanksgiving weekend with a burst of shopping the mega deals. So supposedly there wouldn’t be many retailers offering specials this year and yay, I could just continue calmly with planning some nice well-thought out Christmas presents for friends and family.

So wrong…..!

Thursday morning rolled around and the emails totally flooded in from all (probably most) of my favourite labels and stores. OMG that skirt I loved but didn’t get is 30%, OMG that dress that I probably need for my work Christmas parties (I have 4 works so 4 parties – bummer!) is 20% off and gorgeous, and …..what 50% storewide?!?

So here for you convenience and shopping pleasure, are my favourites and the ones that I trawled for hours on Friday evening while slurping red wine. Definitely a highly recommended combo.

I’ve had my eye on the Arnhem Portofino Skirt for ages and really really don’t need another maxi skirt in my wardrobe….but the Vino colourway kept jumping out at me so this one was added to cart!

Arnhem have such a gorgeous collection of prints and boho styles – they are definitely one of my favourite summer labels. Also a massive plus for me is their commitment to sustainability which is something that I wish more fashion labels would commit to.

I love this store. Such a huge range of all things boho including clothing, shoes, jewellery, homewares & more. If you don’t find something that you love at this store, then I’ll eat my Brixton hat!

They stock a mega range of designers, and shipping is free over $100. Allow at least an hour to browse through all the goodness.

Ohhh so many beautiful clothes! Swishy maxi dresses, floaty mini dresses, bell sleeve tops, and super cute playsuits.

I definitely stocked up here 🙂
